Kyudo (Japanese Archery) is a martial art that blends precision, discipline, and mindfulness, deeply rooted in the philosophy of Zen Buddhism. More than just hitting a target, Kyudo is a path of self-cultivation, where every draw of the bow is a practice in stillness, focus, and harmony between mind and body. Through dedicated practice, archers seek not only technical skill but also spiritual refinement, embodying the principle of "Seisha Seichu" (正射正中) – "Correct Shooting is Correct Hitting."
You can find our Club at Archery World on 12th Street NE.
We hold practice every Wednesday from 630 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.
